This was another amazing day of hospitality and meeting new friends. We were hosted by Betty Claire Dupree McKnight, William and Elizabeth McKeachie and the Saint Andrews Parish family. Our day began with a delicious breakfast in the Parish hall followed by an opportunity to speak to the junior and senior high youth. We then attended worship services and later shared our story with the elementary school children. After worship we attended a reception in our honor.
Later in the afternoon, my brother-in-law, Dave Wolford and nephew, Dann Cahoon arrived from New Orleans and helped us celebrate the end of stage 4 and the beginning of stage 5 of Water Cycle. Dann will be joining me for stage 5 as we ride from Dallas to Slidell, Louisiana. It will be great having company to Slidell.
Tomorrow we will ride from Denton, Texas to Greenville, Texas.

Oct 30, 2015We began our day in Lake City, Florida. I was privileged to ride today with Edouard Lassegue, representing Compassion International and my lifelong friend Scott Elliott. We enjoyed a leisurely start to begin the 68 miles to Jacksonville.

Oct 29, 2015Today turned out to be a wonderful day of riding and a fun day for Marilyn and me. I left the picturesque town of Monticello, Florida around 8:00am this morning under clear skies and rode 65 miles to Live Oak, Florida where Marilyn and I were joined by our great friends, Scott and Melissa Elliott.

Oct 27, 2015If you’ve been reading this blog as I have crossed the country you will know that I have spent many days with Mr. H. Wind. These last few days he has had a contemptuous relationship with Patricia resulting in very difficult riding conditions for me.

Oct 26, 2015OH PATRICIA! Not much more to say than that. At 5:00am this morning I laid in bed listening to the wind and rain beat against the side of the RV.
